THE Irish News has been nominated in several categories at the Regional Press Awards.
This includes News Brand of the Year (Large) and News Website of the Year.
Mal McCann was nominated for Photographer of the Year, with Andy Watters and Neil Loughran both up for Sports Journalist of the Year.
Liam Grimley was also picked as a finalist for the Cathryn Nicholl Award, which celebrates the work of young journalists in local media.
