Kevin Conway: Woman (26) arrested by detectives investigating west Belfast murder

A 26-year-old woman been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Kevin Conway in west Belfast earlier this year.

Police said the woman was detained following the search of a house on the west of the city on Thursday.

A PSNI spokesman said: “The woman was arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime suite for questioning”.

Mr Conway (26) died after he was shot multiple times at his Rossnareen Park flat on January 9 this year.



He had been associated with a notorious crime organisation known as The Firm and was on bail for the murder of Shane Whitla in Lurgan, Co Armagh 12 months previously.

The father-of-two was originally from the Kilwilkie estate in Portadown.
