A man has been charged following a police investigation into a reported stabbing incident in Belfast city centre.
The incident happened in the College Square East area on Wednesday June 12.
The 30-year-old man was arrested in London on Saturday and returned to the north on Tuesday.
A PSNI spokesperson said he has been charged with wounding and possession of an offensive weapon.
He is due to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on Wednesday, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
