A man (50) has been arrested over a shooting linked to the INLA in north Belfast last year.
On May 31, 2023, a man in his 40s was shot in the legs and back when four masked-men entered a property on the Antrim Road.
The victim was later taken to hospital for his injuries.
Detectives from the Paramilitary Crime Task Force announced the arrest after a search of a property in north Belfast on Wednesday morning.

Detective Sergeant Crothers said: “A 50-year-old man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody at this time.
“Our operation today demonstrates our continuing commitment to tackling criminality linked to paramilitaries, and reducing the harm they cause to both individuals and communities.
“We urge anyone with information which could assist us with our work to call us on 101.”
