Man charged after north Belfast drugs arrest

He is due before Belfast Magistrates Court on August 27

Detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch yesterday carried out a number of searches in the Magherafelt area under the Misuse of Drugs Act
Police Service’s Paramilitary Crime Task Force investigating drugs criminality in north Belfast, have charged a man to court

Detectives have charged a man with possession of drugs following a Paramilitary Crime Task Force investigation.

The man, aged 28, has been charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug and possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply.

He is also charged with possession of a Class A drug.



He is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on August 27.
