Man charged over Derry suspected drugs haul worth £100,000

The 34-year-old is due before court on Friday

A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with the seizure of suspected drugs worth £100,000 in Derry.

The man was arrested after the suspected Class A drugs were seized during a policing operation in the city on Wednesday.

He has been charged with charges including possession of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a Class A controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug, possession of a prohibited weapon, and driving while unfit.



He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates Court on Friday, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
