Man charged with drug offences following South East Antrim UDA probe

The charges are linked to the recovery of drugs in Carrick in 2022

A 37-year-old man has been charged with drug offences by police investigating the South East Antrim UDA.

The charges are linked to the seizure of a quantity of Class A and B drugs, and a sum of cash, recovered during a search in Carrickfergus in 2022.

The man is charged with two counts of possessing a Class B drug and possessing a Class B drug with intent to supply.

He is also charged with possessing a Class A drug, possessing a Class A drug with intent to supply, and possessing criminal property.



The man is dur to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court on June 17, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
