Man charged over suspected £39,000 drug seizure in Derry

38-year-old will appear before Derry Magistrates Court on Friday

A man has been charged in connection with the seizure of suspected Class A drugs worth an estimated £39,000 in Derry.

The seizure was made by police officers on Wednesday in Derry’s Waterside area.

A 38-year-old man has been charged with possessing a Class A drug, possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, and resisting police.



He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates Court on Friday, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
