Man due in court in connection with north Belfast drugs seizure worth £75,000

The accused is due before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Saturday

A 44-year-old man is due to appear in court charged in connection with the seizure of drugs in north Belfast with a potential street value of £75,000.

Police said he has been charged with possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of a Class B controlled drug, conspiracy to supply a Class B controlled drug and possession of Class A and B controlled drugs.

The charges relate to the seizure of drugs from a vehicle on the Crumlin Road on Thursday.

The man is expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
