A man in his fifties is due in Dungannon Magistrates Court on Saturday over explosives and drug charges.
It follows a security alert on Tuesday, where a number of houses were evacuated near Maghera following the discovery of a suspicious object in the Ranaghan Road area.
The man has been charged with five offences; possessing explosives under suspicious circumstances, possessing explosives with intent to endanger life or cause serious injury to property, cultivating cannabis, possession of a Class B controlled drug with intent to supply, and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

His charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service, in line with normal procedures.
