Men released following arrests in Strabane under Terrorism Act

The men were detained on Friday

The data included the surname and first initial of every employee, their rank or grade, where they are based and the unit in which they work

Two men arrested under the Terrorism Act in Strabane have been released following questioning.

The men, aged 38 and 61, were detained in the Co Tyrone town on Friday by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorism Investigation Unit, and brought to Belfast’s Musgrave Serious Crime Suite.



A PSNI spokesperson said on Saturday the men were released following questioning, adding: “The investigation continues.”
