Men repeatedly kicked in the head in Newry assault

Attack took place in the Trevor Hill area of the town

Two men were repeatedly kicked in the head by a group of males in an early morning attack outside a licenced premises in Newry.

The assault, during which the men sustained a number of serious facial injuries requiring hospital treatment, happened on Sunday, September 29.

The incident took place in the Trevor Hill area of the town, between 12.30am and 1am.



A PSNI investigation is underway and detectives are asking anyone with information or who may be able to help with the investigation to call them at Ardmore station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 311 29/09/24.
