THREE weeks on from the disappearance of Lisburn woman Paula Elliott, police are still appealing for witnesses to come forward.
March 5:
The first appeal was issued the day after her disappearance on March 5, noting she was last seen leaving the Sprucefield Court area of Lisburn at 5.30pm.
Further details emerged that she had made her way to the nearby Warren Gardens by 5.36pm
Three minutes later, she was seen travelling along the Hillsborough Road, driving a red Citroen C4 car that was found shortly afterwards parked near the Lagan Towpath.
She was described as wearing a grey/silver coloured Michael Kors puffer-style jacket with black leggings, multi-coloured Sketcher trainers and sunglasses and with her hair tied up with a pink crocodile clip.
With dark-coloured hair, she is around 5ft in height with a medium to large build.
March 7:
By March 7, police referred to Ms Elliott as a high-risk missing person and made a specific appeal for any dashcam footage of a red Citroen C4 travelling in the city bound direction on the Hillsborough Road in Lisburn.
The following day, there was an appeal for two fisherman on the Lagan Towpath between Bridge Street and Tullynacross Road between 9-10pm on the evening of Ms Elliott’s disappearance.
Police said they believed they may have seen her walking in the area around this time.
Police were also being assisted along the Lagan by volunteers from the Search and Rescue Dog Association, Community Rescue Service and Sky Watch NI.
A week after the disappearance, PSNI officers were in the Lagan Towpath area in the hope of gathering information from members of the public.
March 18:
By March 18, police said CCTV footage had identified a number of people in the vicinity of the Hillsborough Road/Lagan Towpath between 5.30pm and 6.30pm on March 5.
This included three teenage girls walking a Staffordshire butt terrier-type dog as well as the female driver of a white Vauxhall Astra, with appeals for them to come forward if they had seen anyone matching Ms Elliott’s description.
March 26:
On Tuesday, three weeks after the disappearance, police issued another appeal for information but there was no further details.
