Police have launched an investigation following the sudden deaths of two people discovered inside a house in Larne.
The discovery of the bodies was made on Thursday afternoon on Elizabeth Avenue, police said.
“Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden deaths of two people at a house in the Elizabeth Avenue area of Larne this afternoon, Thursday January 23,” a spokesperson said.
“There are no further details at this time.”
In a statement on social media, local Alliance MLA Danny Donnelly said: “I’m hearing some very concerning news about a tragic incident in Larne. My thoughts are with the families of those involved.
“I would encourage anyone with any information that may assist the police to share it with them on 101 or anonymously on Crimestoppers 0800-555111.”
