A 21-year-old woman found dead in her home in Co Antrim has been remembered as a “beautiful girl”.
Tributes have been paid to the mother-of-one, named locally as Shannon McCann from Randalstown. She was found dead at her home in Main Street on Saturday.
A 26-year-old man questioned by police investigating the circumstances surrounding the death has been released on bail.
A family notice described her as beloved mother of Phoenix, dearly beloved daughter of Eamonn and Michelle and much loved sister of Annabelle, Sam, Ella and Ava.
Her funeral is due to place on Thursday at Bairds Funeral Home in Antrim with a service afterwards at Sixmile Cemetery.
Her family have asked for any donations in lieu to be made to Mid Antrim Animal Sanctuary.

Friends posted tributes to her on social media with many writing of their shock at her death.
One said: “Rest in peace Shannon, thinking of Eamon, Michelle and rest of the family at this sad time, thank you for all the memories we had together growing up, you will be sorely missed”.
Another described her as a “lovely young lady, so sad to lose life at a young age”.
In a statement on Monday, police said a post mortem had taken place and they were awaiting the result of toxicology tests.
A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of supplying class A and class C drugs, preventing a lawful burial and perverting the course of justice.

A PSNI spokesperson said on Tuesday that the man had been released on bail, whilst further enquiries were carried out.
