A 23-year-old man has been charged by police investigating a report of an attack involving an axe and a knife at a house in Co Down.
The man was arrested by police following the incident in the Church Walk area of Kircubbin around 9.55pm on Saturday.

He has been charged with possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, aggravated burglary with intent to inflict grievous bodily harm, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
The man is due to appear before Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Monday and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
