A road remains closed following a ‘serious’ crash in Co Down in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police announced at around 2.55am that the Upper Gransha Road in Bangor is closed to traffic in both directions due to a ‘serious road traffic collision’.
The crash is reported to have happened close to the junction of Kerrs Road.
The incident is likely to remain ongoing throughout Saturday morning and potentially into the afternoon.
“Diversions are in place and drivers are advised to avoid the area and seek an alternative route for their journey at this time,” a police spokesperson said.
