A man has been taken to hospital following a ‘serious’ one-vehicle crash on the Priestland Road near Bushmills.

Police say the individual may have broken bones.

The incident had resulted in the road’s closure between around 9am and 2pm today, however police confirmed that the road is now open.

Traffic in the north coast is particularly busy this weekend with the NI International Air Show taking place in Portrush.

Police advised earlier this week that traffic delays were to be expected.
