Suspected Class A drugs worth an estimated £60,000 have been seized in north Belfast.

One man has been arrested following the seizure, which took place during a search in the Shore Road area on Tuesday as part of a joint operation between the PSNI and UK Border Force officers.

The 28-year-old remained in custody on Tuesday assisting police with enquiries.



A PSNI spokesperson said: ”I would ask if anyone has any information about suspected drug dealing in their area to call the non-emergency number 101. Alternatively, information can also be given anonymously to the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
