Teenagers charged over ‘ongoing anti-social behaviour’ in north Belfast

Two boys aged 15 are due to appear before Belfast Youth Court later this month

Two teenagers arrested in north Belfast on Friday in relation to what police called “ongoing anti-social behaviour” have been charged to court.

The boys, both aged 15, have been charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and riotous behaviour. 

They are due to appear before Belfast Youth Court on Friday August 30.

Another two young people arrested on Friday have been released.

Police said one had been released on bail to allow for further enquiries, while the other will be reported to the Public Prosecution Service.
