The Ould Lammas Fair rolled into Ballycastle over the weekend as thousands flocked to the seaside town for Ireland’s oldest fair.

A spectacular fireworks show kicked off proceedings on Saturday night, accompanied by live music and a twilight market.

A live concert took place on Sunday while patrons enjoyed the many stalls and markets set up at the fair.

The streets were lined with stalls and young traditional musicians while Fairhill Street was packed for the traditional horse trading.

The famous yellaman and dulse were favourites for visitors, as the fair continues into Bank Holiday Monday.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Ciaran McQuillan was among those in attendance, and presented the heavy horse show prizes while meeting with the many visitors who came along for the long weekend.
