Three men are being questioned by police in connection with the 1994 murder of a police constable in north Belfast.
Constable John ‘Jackie’ Haggan was killed at Dunmore Greyhound Stadium on March 10, 1994.
Police said the three men, who are all aged in their fifties, were arrested on Thursday morning by detectives from the PSNI’s legacy investigation branch.
A PSNI spokeswoman said: “They were arrested under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act on suspicion of murder and membership of a proscribed organisation at addresses in Belfast and the Newtownabbey area.
“The men have been taken to the Serious Crime Suite in Antrim Police Station and are being questioned by detectives.”

A 50-year-old man was also arrested in connection with the investigation in the north Belfast area on Tuesday.
He has since been released from custody following questioning to allow for further enquiries.
