Three people charged over sudden deaths in Lisburn

Police investigating the sudden deaths of two people in Lisburn last year have charged two women and a man with drugs offences.

The investigation was carried out following the deaths in the greater Lisburn area in May and August 2023.

A PSNI spokesperson said a 35-year-old woman has been charged with offences including being concerned in the supply of a Class A controlled drug and administering poison to aggrieve.



A 33-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman have both been charged with possession of a Class C controlled drug.

All three are due to appear before Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on August 12, and all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
