Titanic Belfast is to remain closed until the end of the month following damage to its roof during the recent stormy weather.
The popular visitor attraction has been shut since Tuesday after damage was caused “during Storm Isha and further inclement weather from Storm Jocelyn preventing safe access to the roof”.
It has now been confirmed that following assessment of the repair work needed to be carried out, it will remain closed until January 31.
Workers have been seen on the roof of the building this week since the doors were shut, but in a statement posted on social media, Titanic Belfast said the attraction would remain closed until next Wednesday.
“Following further assessment of the damage to its roof, Titanic Belfast plans to close until next week to allow for remedial works to take place,” the statement said.
