Police are investigating the torching and destruction of two cars along with damage to a nearby house in east Belfast early on Monday.
The arson attack happened at Dunraven Court close to the Bloomfield Road around 3.30am. A white Mercedes CLA and a silver Volkswagen Tiguan were set alight.
“Both cars were completely destroyed, with damage also reported to a red Citroen Berlingo which was also parked in the area,” a PSNI spokesperson said.
“A residential premises nearby received damage to its windows as a result of the heat. Colleagues from Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service attended and dealt with the incident and there were no reports of any injuries.
“Enquiries are continuing and the incident is being treated as arson with intent to endanger life.” Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
