Two men arrested after teen had ‘part of each ear bitten off’

The men are currently in custody in Musgrave

Police said inquiries into the crash are continuing

Police have arrested two men in connection with a serious assault in which a teen had “part of each ear bitten off”.

The arrests relate to an assault at a licensed premises in the High Street area of Antrim in the early hours of Sunday May 12. During the incident, a man, aged in his late teens, had part of each ear bitten off.

Detectives investigating the incident which took place in Antrim made the arrests in the Leeds area.

The two men aged 28 and 20 were arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and are currently in custody in Musgrave.

In a statement Detective Inspector Lenaghan thanked colleagues in West Yorkshire Police and members of the public for their assistance in the investigation which remains ongoing.
