Two men due in court charged in connection with Co Down robberies

The charges are linked to incidents in Newtownards on Monday

Two men are due to appear in court today charged in connection with a number of robberies in Co Down.

The men, aged 28 and 29, are charged with two counts of robbery, theft, interference with vehicles and possession of a Class B controlled drug.

It is understood the charges relate to incidents, in which a number of business premises were robbed in the Newtownards area on Monday.

They are due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court today.
