TORRENTIAL rain has been forecast for parts of Northern Ireland as the Met Office has issued a yellow warning for heavy showers and thunderstorms.
The warning is set to be in place from 12pm this afternoon to 9pm tonight.
The Met Office said spray and sudden flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and road closures while some communities may become cut off by flooded roads.
There is a chance of delays and cancellations of train and bus services.
The Met Office said: “There is a slight chance that power cuts could occur and other services to some homes and businesses could be lost.

“There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
“There is a small chance of fast-flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life.”
Met Éireann have not issued any weather warnings but scattered showers and some sunny spells are predicted throughout the Republic today with potentially heavy and thundery spells in Ulster.
