A 33-year-old woman has been charged with attempted murder following an incident on the Belfast Road area of Bangor.

It took place on Sunday, August 5.

She has also been charged with dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit and possession of a Class A controlled drug.



The woman will appear at Downpatrick Magistrates Court on Monday, August 5.

As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
