A MAN has been arrested after six men forced their way into a house in north Belfast and assaulted the occupants.
The aggravated burglary took place in the Duneden Park area of Ardoyne in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A woman in her 20s sustained cuts and bruises while the two men, one in his 20s and the other in his 30s, sustained hand and wrist injuries.
Windows were also broken during the attack, after which the men fled.
Police said a 29-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains in custody.
Detective Inspector Dane said: “Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who noticed anything with regards this incident to contact police on the 101 number quoting reference 173 of 21/03/21.”
