TYRONE All-Ireland winner Niall Morgan has taken on a new role in the run-up to Christmas by becoming an official ambassador for the Northern Ireland Hospice and Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

He is supporting various events and campaigns, including the current fundraiser, Jingle All the Way.

In its fifth year, Jingle All the Way encourages businesses, schools, and churches to help raise much-needed funds throughout the festive period.

The virtual Jingle 5k/10k race, which Mr Morgan is participating in, will take place on Sunday.

"The hospice plays an important role in our local communities, delivering specialist palliative care not only in their amazing state-of-the-art in-patient units, but in many homes across Northern Ireland too," he said.

"I think almost everyone has been touched by the hospice and the incredible work that they do, and I’m so happy to come on board and get involved in Jingle all the Way.

Mary McCall from Northern Ireland Hospice said: "Niall brings high energy and passion to everything he does, and we have no doubt that he will inspire and motivate many GAA fans to fundraise and support us."
