An Irish holiday maker has been found dead in s swimming pool in Spain.
The 24-year-old was found in the pool at a property near Marbella in Andalucia on Friday.
He is believed to be one of a group of Irish holidaymakers.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said it is providing consular assistance.
Authorities say emergency services responded to a distress call at 10.25am and found a man who showed signs of drowning in the pool of a house located on the Camino del Ángel, in the Nueva Andalucía area.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Policia Nacional is investigating the cause of death.
