Translink has announced a special rail service for those heading to Taylor Swift’s Era’s Tour in Dublin.

Thousands of people will travel to the Aviva Stadium to see the Tortured Poet’s Department singer on June 28, 29 and 30.

With a packed events calendar kicking off across Northern Ireland, Translink is encouraging the public to take the hassle out of getting to and from venues.

A coach special provided by the public transport operator for the concert had sold out earlier this month.

A spokesperson for Translink said: “We are operating rail specials for the Taylor Swift concerts in Dublin.

“All return tickets must be pre booked and and are available online only.

“On 28th June and 30th June, the train on the return journey will terminate at Lisburn with bus substitutions operating from there to Belfast Lanyon Place.

“Please retain your printed ticket for your return journey.”

Trains depart from Lanyon place in Belfast at 1pm, stopping at Lisburn, Lurgan, Portadown and Newry.

The return journey departs Dublin Connolly Train Station at 23:59pm.

Prices start from £27 for a child aged 16 and under and £45 for an adult fare.
