The victorious Down football team, which captured the Sam Maguire trophy after an epic All-Ireland Senior final win in 1991, were honoured at yesterday's final showpiece at Croke Park in Dublin.Down outgunned Meath in a classic 1991 final, played out in front of 64,500 fans at Croke.
Managed by Pete McGrath, Down lifted the silverware after a thrilling 1-16 to 1-14 triumph.
