BALLYMARTIN: The executive committee and all club members are saddened at the recent passing of Bridie McElroy, grandmother of Sorcha, a member of the minor ladies’ football team. The club offers sincere condolences to Sorcha, her mother, siblings and the entire family circle at this sad time. May she rest in peace.
The club is in the process of making a commemorative DVD and book to celebrate our centenary year. We are calling on all past and present members to contact us and share any old or recent photos and particularly video footage they might have. It can be from a match, a club event or fundraiser or sports day. If anyone has stories to tell and would be available to be interviewed, that would be welcome. Everyone who has a connection with the club can have an input.
