AFTER over 20 years of raising money for children’s cancer charities, Cromac Albion old boy Henry Armstrong is calling time on his charitable work.

His final charity bash will take place at Europa Hotel on November 30 with all proceeds going to the Northern Ireland Children’s Hospice.

Henry has used the medium of his old football friends network who still play on a weekly basis and last week raised over £300 for the November event.

Henry has had a long association with the now defunct Cromac Albion as a player and committee member as did his father - the late Dessie Armstrong. Over the last 20 years, Henry and friends have raised £167,339 for children’s cancer charities.
