CLIFTONVILLE have confirmed that they have parted company with striker Darren Murray.
The 24-year-old former Portadown, Newry City and Donegal Celtic player was signed in January from Portadown on a three and-a-half year deal, but failed to make the impact that was anticipated following a successful stint at Shamrock Park. Last year, the north Belfast man had a trial with Inverness Caledonian Thistle. His short time at Solitude was, however, unfortunately beset by injury.
In a statement, a Cliftonville spokesperson said: "Following a meeting with the player this evening, Cliftonville Football Club can confirm that Darren Murray is no longer a Cliftonville player."
