Derry City’s Nicky Low admits they are going into tonight’s clash at Drogheda United looking for all three points, although the Candystripes midfielder knows they are in for a tough evening.?City had a comfortable 4-0 win over Pete Mahon’s men in Buncrana earlier in the season, but the Louth men held high-flying Bray to a scoreless draw at United Park last weekend and while Low has yet to play there, he knows nothing will come easy.

“I have heard from Kenny (Shiels) and the rest of the lads that Drogheda have a small ground, so it’s going to be hard to play our usual passing game, but we need to make the pitch as big as possible,” said the Scotsman.?“We need plenty of width and get our wingers on the ball and play through them.

“Although we beat them at home, Maginn is a big pitch and we could get at them but it’s going to be a different game away from home, so it’s up to us to take the game to them.”?This evening’s clash is City's penultimate outing before the Airtricity League takes a mid-season break, and the on-loan man is aiming for six points from the two games.

“As players we need to set targets for ourselves, without Kenny giving us targets," said Low.

"We know it’s going to be hard, but we need to go to Drogheda and win.?“If we want to have a successful season it’s games like this that we need to win and stop drawing. Then we have Galway at home, so we have a good chance of getting back-to-back wins if we perform.?“So it’s up to us to go to Drogheda and stamp our authority from the start, hopefully take it to them for the whole 90 minutes.”?The Candystripes, who are unbeaten in their last eight league games, travel to Drogheda full of confidence after picking up four points from two games against Shamrock Rovers and Dundalk in the last few days and Low is looking for another positive outcome.

“Obviously the Rovers game was pleasing, the work ethic from the lads was tremendous and we fully deserved the three points.

"Then going to Dundalk we knew it going to be a hard game against the champions.

“But to be honest the first half there it was even and while they started better, we came into it and without creating too many clear-cut chances we shaded the second half and could have nicked it.”?Elsewhere, the game of the night takes place at Turners Cross as runaway leaders Cork City host Shamrock Rovers.

Champions Dundalk make the trip to Richmond Park to face St Patrick’s Athletic, who produced a terrible display at Finn Harps on Monday night.

Ger Lyttle's Sligo Rovers side visit the Carlisle Grounds to take on a Bray Wanderers team looking to get back to winning ways after picking up one point from their last two games, while Galway United host Bohemians.
