Holders Burren face preliminary round clash with St Eunan's

THE dates have been released for this year's FonaCAB Ulster Club Minor Football Tournament, played in association with the Belfast City Council.

Down champions and title-holders Burren will face Donegal champions St Eunan's, Letterkenny in the preliminary round on Sunday, December 3 (1pm) at St Paul's on the Shaw's Road, with the winners facing Clan Eireann from Lurgan in the last quarter-final on Sunday, December 10 (1pm) at St Paul's.

Cavan is the only county yet to finish its minor football championship. The finalists are Southern Gaels and Ramor United, two clubs that have previously played in the Ulster tournament.

Sunday, December 3: Burren (Down) v St Eunan's (Donegal), St Paul's (1pm)

Quarter-finals

Sunday, December 3: (a) Killaney (Monaghan) v O'Donovan Rossa (Antrim), Woodlands (2.45pm)

Saturday, December 9: (b) Errigal Ciarán (Tyrone) v Ballinascreen (Derry), St Paul's (1.30pm) or Woodlands (5.45pm)

Sunday, December 10: (c) Ramor United or Southern Gaels (Cavan) v Enniskillen Gaels (Fermanagh), Woodlands (4.15pm)

Sunday, December 10: (d) Clan Eireann (Armagh) v Burren or St Eunan's, St Paul's (1pm)

Semi-finals

Sunday, December 17: (a) v (b), Shaw's Rd (1.30pm)

Tuesday, December 26: (c) v (d), Shaw's Rd (1.30pm)

Final: Monday, January 1, Shaw's Rd (1.30pm)
