ST MACARTAN’S, AUGHER: Choruses of ‘Lets Get Ready To Rumble’ will reverberate round the Mellon Country Hotel on Saturday as Las Vegas-style boxing takes to the ring in Tyrone, writes Damien Donnelly.

‘Mayhem In The Mellon’ sees contenders from various clubs joining those from the Clogher Valley. Training w intense in the build-up to the weekend face-off, with match-up announcements taking place at Daly’s Bar, Aughnacloy.

There are bouts for both ladies and men in a packed programme as the Mellon gets ready to rumble.

DRUMRAGH SARSFIELD’S: Registration day takes place at the clubrooms on Saturday from 10am-12pm. Membership costs £40 for adults, £15 for youth members, with a £100 family cap.

GLASDRUMMAN: The annual dinner and awards night takes place on Saturday, March 18 in the Burrendale Hotel. For tickets contact any committee member.

BALLYMARTIN: There will be a fundraising night for the big hall build on Saturday, March 4 in the Ballymartin Inn. A big pub quiz starts at 8pm, followed by DJ Tiny.
