Down champions Kilcoo draw Clonduff in semi-final

REIGNING county champions Kilcoo will take on Adrian Cush’s Clonduff in the semi-final of the Down SFC.

The draw for the last four took place tonight following Glenn’s impressive victory over Mayobridge and they’ll now face Burren.

Karl Lacey’s side looked troubled in the first half against league champions Carryduff but came good in the second half to see off Finnian Moriarty’s men.

The Magpies are hoping to secure the Frank O’Hare Cup for the 11th time in twelve years and are the favourites to do so.

Burren, the team that disrupted Kilcoo’s domination back in 2018, look best placed to challenge the current champions and are many people’s favourites to do so.

They take on surprise package Glenn in the semi-final, who have put together a great championship campaign to take.

Stephen Clarke’s charges were relegated to Division Three via the league, but have bounced back impressively at the business end of the season.
