FORMER Dublin All-Ireland winner Ger Brennan has been appointed Louth's new senior football manager.
It is understood Brennan will be assisted by former boss James McCartan and Niall Moyna - the latter duo working together in Down in 2011.
Brennan, who also won All-Ireland honours with St Vincents, succeeds Mickey Harte and Gavin Devlin who moved to take over the Derry senior footballers.
