MARK Allen will face Ryan Day in the last 32 of the BetVictor Scottish Open in Edinburgh on Wednesday after a comfortable 4-1 win over China’s He Guoqiang on Monday evening.
Allen, who has fallen to number five in the world rankings after starting the season at number one, finished the match in style with breaks of 104 and 99.
His Antrim club-mate Jordan Brown was well-beaten by Jack Lisowski in his first-round match on Tuesday, losing 4-0.
