Forwards Eric O’Sullivan and John Andrew have extended their contracts with Ulster Rugby.
A regular at loosehead prop this season, Eric O’Sullivan (29) will stay until 2027, having made 125 appearances for the province since the Dubliner made his debut back in 2018.
O’Sullivan has also been serving the province as a coach in the women’s set-up, helping with the scrum and defence coaching roles.
The single-cap Irish international said: "I feel very at home here and enjoy playing with a great group of lads. We are developing a squad for the future and I’m excited to be a part of that.”
John Andrew, a stalwart at hooker, has also penned a new one-year deal, with the 31-year-old Ballymena man having already played a decade with the province.
“It’s always an honour for me every chance I get to play for Ulster,” said Andrew, who made his debut in 2015 after emerging through the Ulster Academy system.
“I’ll be doing everything I can to contribute to the team both on and off the pitch for the rest of this season and beyond.”
Ulster general manager Bryn Cunningham said: “Securing Eric and John’s futures [was] an important part of shaping our squad for the months ahead.
“Eric’s mobility around the park and capacity to grow at scrum time over the coming months, under Jimmy Duffy’s tutelage, mean we genuinely believe his best years are yet to come in an Ulster shirt.
“John has shown this season how important he is for us, as we have been hit hard on the injury front with our group of hookers.
“He brings a wealth of experience to a relatively young squad, is incredibly popular amongst his peers, and continues to be a key cultural leader within the group.”
