STEPHEN Gourley insists both his third placed Dundela side and fourth placed Bangor will be relishing the prospect of a big Playr-Fit Championship clash under the Friday night lights - especially after last week’s nine-goal extravaganza.
Bangor travelled to Newry City last Friday evening and incredibly triumphed 5-4 on a night of high drama.
Gourley said: “A saw the scoreline on my phone and couldn’t believe it. That sums up just how competitive the Championship is - anyone can beat anyone.
“It’s fantastic for the neutral - never a dull moment!”
Bangor are the hosts on Friday (7.45pm) and Gourley added: “It’s a massive game - Bangor have made some very good signings and Lee Feeney will have his team fired up for it. But our boys will relish the occasion too.”
The rest of the matches are on Saturday (3pm), with Limavady - second only to H&W Welders on goal difference - facing a tricky test against Newington at Larne’s Inver Park.
The Welders should be too hot for Armagh City at Blanchflower Stadium.
Elsewhere, Ballinamallard and Institute clash at Ferney Park, Ballyclare Comrades welcome Ards, while Annagh United tackle Newry City - relegated from the Sports Direct Premiership last season - at the BMG Arena.
