LINFIELD face a big test when east Belfast side Glentoran come to National Stadium.

The Blues are currently top of the table in the Irish Premiership after a stellar start to the season which has seen them only lose one game so far.

Their attacking force, Joel Cooper, is currently sitting on five goals this year and has been a key part of Linfield’s positive play.

Linfield’s last outing was a 3-0 away win against Coleraine at the Showgrounds, with the Blues retaining their two-point gap at the top.

Glentoran will arrive at Windsor Park just inside the top half of the table and will hope to climb the table as champions Larne and Irish Cup winners Cliftonville sit equal on points with the Glens.

The east Belfast side come into this tie on the back of a disappointing 0-0 with Glenavon on Friday.

When and where is the Linfield-Glentoran match taking place?

Kick-off is scheduled for Friday, October 4 at 7.45pm at Windsor Park in Belfast.
