Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund gave Manchester United a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Brentford and ease the pressure on boss Erik ten Hag.

The Bees led on the cusp of half-time at Old Trafford when Ethan Pinnock netted with Matthijs de Ligt off the pitch receiving treatment to a bloodied head.

However, moments into the second half Garnacho drew level before Hojlund completed the turnaround, scoring from a brilliant Bruno Fernandes assist and earning a third league win for United this season.

An impressive second-half display saw Tottenham score three goals in eight minutes to beat West Ham 4-1.

Following some poor home defending, Mohammed Kudus put the Hammers ahead in the 18th minute but Dejan Kulusevski levelled before the break.

Yves Bissouma made it 2-1, before Jean-Clair Todibo put the ball into his own net and Son Heung-min wrapped up the scoring on the hour as Spurs pulled away.

Goalscorer Kudus was then sent off late in the game for violent conduct to cap a miserable afternoon for the visitors.

Leicester staged a brilliant comeback, coming from two goals down to beat Southampton 3-2 at St Mary’s.

Saints started well and took control with goals from Cameron Archer and Joe Aribo but the game shifted when Facundo Buonanotte pulled one back for the Foxes and Southampton were reduced to 10 men when Ryan Fraser was shown a straight red card.

Jamie Vardy scored from the resulting spot-kick to level before Jordan Ayew found the winner in the eighth minute of stoppage-time to snatch three points.

Aston Villa rediscovered their winning form with a 3-1 win over 10-man Fulham.

Raul Jimenez had Fulham ahead five minutes in but Morgan Rogers equalised just four minutes later.

Andreas Pereira then had a penalty saved by Emi Martinez and Villa were soon ahead through Ollie Watkins’ header and they took advantage of Joachim Andersen’s red card as Issa Diop’s own goal wrapped up victory.

Danny Welbeck’s goal was the difference as Brighton earned a 1-0 win over Newcastle.

The forward scored the only goal of the game with a low finish into the bottom corner to send the Seagulls up to fifth in the table.

Newcastle struggled to take their chances as Bart Verbruggen made some good saves but Brighton’s afternoon was soured when Welbeck was carried off the pitch on a stretcher after being caught in the back by Fabian Schar.

Everton earned their second league win of the season after beating struggling Ipswich 2-0 at Portman Road.

Iliman Ndiaye and Michael Keane both struck in the first half to extend the Toffees’ unbeaten run to four games, while Ipswich remain winless so far.
