BANGOR took a massive step towards a long-awaited return to the top flight with a 1-0 Playr-Fit Championship win over second-placed Limavady United at Clandeboye Park on Friday night.
Ben Arthurs struck the winner for the Seasiders on 12 minutes, a result that sees Lee Feeney’s men go nine points clear of the Roesiders – who knocked top-flight champions Larne out of the Irish Cup last Saturday – and 11 clear of third-placed Dundela, although the east Belfast side have two matches in hand.
The Duns host Annagh in Saturday’s early kick-off (2pm) while in the 3pm starts Ballyclare welcome Newry City, Armagh City are at home to the Welders, Ballinamallard host Newington and Institute tackle Ards at the Brandywell.
