On Tuesday Joao Felix joined a raft for former Chelsea players now plying their trade in the red and black of AC Milan.
The PA news agency looks as the former Blues who will be team-mates of the Portugal international.
Fikayo Tomori
Having broken into the senior team under Frank Lampard while the club was under a transfer embargo in 2019, the defender went on to make 27 appearances and was one of a clutch of academy graduates to make the first team during the Blues’ ban from entering the market.
He ultimately failed to dislodge Antonio Rudiger, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta from the centre of defence and was further pushed down the pecking order when Thiago Silva arrived the following season. He was loaned to Milan in 2020 before making the move permanent.
Tammy Abraham
Another of the cohort to be thrown into the first team during the 2019 embargo, Abraham was the club’s top scorer in his first full season playing regularly at Stamford Bridge, netting 18 times as the the team finished fourth in the Premier League.
He played only one more campaign for the club and was sold to Roma in 2021 for £34million having failed to feature regularly in the selections of new manager Thomas Tuchel. He was loaned to the San Siro outfit for the 2024-25 season.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
A Premier League winner in 2016-17 under Antonio Conte, the England international became a reliable midfield presence under successive managers without ever becoming a mainstay of the first XI.
He missed the Champions League winning campaign of 2020-21 as he was on loan at Fulham and was sold to Milan in 2023.
Christian Pulisic
A high-profile capture when joining from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2019, the United States international made 145 Blues appearances without ever fully living up to expectations.
Following the arrival of Todd Boehly and co in 2022 he was another steadily made surplus by the mammoth overhaul undertaken by the new owners and was one of a clutch of the Champions League winning side sold off to help finance a young batch of recruits in 2023, joining Milan for around £18m.
