Andy Reid’s Kansas City Chiefs will face the Philidelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans with history within their grasp.

No side has ever won three Super Bowls in a row, with the attempted feat being labelled the ‘three-peat’ across the Atlantic after 2023 and 2024 wins against the Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers.

There is the added intrigue that Reid was fired by the Eagles back in 2012 as he now targets a second decider win against his former charges.

“Yes, I’ll be back”, was Reid’s reply when reporters questioned this week if he would stay on in the case he becomes just the third coach ever to reach four Super Bowl successes.

The all important quarterback battle sees the Eagles’ Jalen Hurts face off against Patrick Mahomes.
